Our Story

Ranallo’s Pizza & Gelato Catering was born from a love of food, family, and serving others. What started as a vision quickly became a reality when Ezio Ranallo, a veteran sergeant and son of Italian immigrants, teamed up with Giuseppe Cortinovis, a two-time Canadian Pizza Champion from San Pellegrino Terme, Italy.

Ezio grew up in his family’s pizza shop, learning the value of hard work, service, and tradition. Giuseppe grew up in his parents’ bakery, where his passion for pizza took root and eventually led him to compete — and win — on some of the biggest stages in the pizza world. Though they came from different paths, their passion for authentic Italian food brought them together.

The Experience

At Ranallo’s, we don’t just make pizza — we create an experience. With our custom-built Piaggio Ape pizza truck and Vespa Gelato Scooter, we bring authentic Italian flavors to weddings, corporate events, private parties, and community gatherings across the Lower Mainland.

We cook pizzas continuously throughout your event, ensuring every slice is fresh, hot, and full of flavor. Add our artisan gelato to the mix, and you’ve got the perfect recipe for an unforgettable celebration.
